The Binghamton Homeownership Academy will be offering Pre-Purchase Education Group Sessions. The Academy will be offering five (5) sessions this year, with classes running from 5:30 – 8:30pm on Thursday evenings. The schedule is as follows:
- February/March: 2/7, 2/21, 2/28, 3/7, 3/21
- April/May: 4/4, 4/11, 4/18, 4/25, 5/9
- May/June: 5/23, 5/30, 6/6, 6/13, 6/27
- Sept/Oct: 9/5, 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/10
To accommodate those with work conflicts, we are offering one session of classes hosted on Saturdays, from 9:00am to 1:00pm:
- Oct/Nov (Saturday Sessions): 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9
Each session has a total of five (5) classes that you must be able to attend in order to receive a Certificate of Completion, which makes you eligible for academy grants and assistance.
There is no charge for the class, however, there is a charge of $18.00 for the class manual that is required reading.
